Secret method to help ranking Youtube videos on Google and Youtube!

The On-Off Page Optimization and how you have set your video up will help rank your video on youtube and google.

You can add a description and keywords in your video and google/youtube can like it and rank you. But to make every videos ranking as relevant as possible to the content of the video, Google has made captioning available.

A good thing is that you can add captions to your video even if you don't have sound in it.

Step 1: Go to Video Manager and click edit on your video.

Step 2: Click Captions in the menu.


Step 3: Open notepad and create an subtitle file for your Youtube video. Here is an example of an SBV file I made for this guide.

The text I use for the captions is from essaygenerator.com .
My video is 2:44 long thats why I stop the captions there.

Step 4: Click Add captions, choose english as caption language and then click + add caption name and write your keyword as the name.
Click upload timed captions file and then upload your captions.sbv file.
